if being gay is a sin and a choise,and not boilogical why are there gay animals
examle: gay penguins

Relax dude, being gay isn't a sin.

True, the Bible says God created "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"... BUT, as you are rightly pointing out, being gay is not a choice. You don't choose to be gay, you just *are*. And if you are, it's because God contemplated it some way. Everything in the creation was created by God, even gay people.

The difference is that you aren't an animal. You do not have act on instinct. Some people may indeed have a bent toward same-sex attraction. Some others may have a bent toward addictions. Yet, if the addict is caught by law enforcement, the person is arrested, tried and convicted.

These leanings toward various activities result from what Christians call "The Fall of Mankind." God placed a curse of the man, and the earth. We fall into temptation because we don't have the power within ourselves to say no. Certainly we can choose at times not to act on a situation, but we often will.

This is why we need a Savior. This is why Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sins. When a person chooses to lay aside their sin, and turn to Him to save them, He empowers them with the Holy Spirit, who teaches us to say no to our passions.

The difference between 30-40 years ago and now is this, back then, to be openly homosexual was considered a shameful thing. Nowadays, people are proud.

This fulfills what Paul the Apostle said, "Although they know God's just requirement-that those who practice such things deserve to die-they not only do these things but even applaud others who practice them." (Romans 1:32)

Judging by the responses of many here, they too have bought into the lie. It's a shame.

This is actually one of the reasons that I believe that homosexuality is an inherant trait. There are many species in the animal kingdom that form same-sex unions, sometimes even for life.

By the way, the Catholic church does NOT believe that being gay in a sin. They believe that the act of homosexual sex is a sin for the same reason they believe that sex outside of marriage and using birth control are sins - all of these acts are sexual acts that are not open to procreation and/or are outside of the marriage of a man and a woman. You'll hear a lot of other reasons, but that's the bottom line common denominator. Not saying I agree or disagree, just sharing the information.

BEING GAY is a SIN if your not a What-So-Ever, and go against the Grain (the WAY GOD Created YOU).
YOU are A-O.K. when the CREATOR Create's YOU and send's you down to the EARTH to be Born.
This is where some People get Messed-up(Sexually), in all kind's of Way's, it's not Their FAULT.
If you were not messed-up sexually when you were Born on this EARTH, then the Same Evil and Wicked Spiritual Being's (satan and his follower Angel's that were Kicked-Out of HEAVEN) will try to get you to "Go Against the Grain" just like he get's some of the Animal's to "Go Against the Grain". Animal's can be effected by Demonic Spirit's too. Animal's have a Free-Will alot lower than Mankind does, that's why they act they way they do sometime's. Hope this helps.

I have read in the Bible several times that man should not lay with man and woman should not lay with woman. One scripture said that your gut will rot. Sounds funny but it is true. It is in the same place that says that man shouldn't lay with animals. You do know what it means when it says "lay" right. And these were the words of God. So you figure it out for yourself. I have never seen gay animals and I was raised on a farm. I thought penguins were one of the only other species that chose one mate for life. Last week on the radio they said that there was a new study that shows that being gay is like being mentally challenged.

Whatever Kashmir. Being uncontrollably gay is not a sin. Choosing to be gay is a sin. And most importantly, a guy screwing another guy is a sin.

Animals are subject to a different set of laws than humans. YOu can't make yourself feel good after seeing a couple of queer penguins go at it. If you're gay, keep it to yourself and pray to God to give you the power to fight the urge.

Gays have existed before the biblical times, and even then the Messengers of God came to them to warn them of their sins. Entire gay villages were destroyed by God.

Your feelings of gay may be real, but they represent everything that is unnatural. Consider a fault of yours. Consider it your path that God has chosen for you, for you to find Him.

These are answers I've gotten from others, I for one don't think being gay is a sin and only a little bit of choice. Quite honestly, gay animals don't confirm or deny gay humans just because we are different in thought from most animals. Our actions are derived from different standards, so we cannot prove human meanings with animal actions. Unless you've seen a lion get road rage.......

Animals differ from humans in the fact that animals are driven by insitinct and their desires. Animals, though, do not spend life with a member of the same sex.

Humans are created in God's image, having the ability to imitate his qualities. We are not governed by instinct, but rather by our minds. Homosexuality is a sin against God's arrangement of male and female. What would happen to mankind if every single person were strictly homosexual? The human race would die off in one generation.

I honestly don't know what to think. I hear evidence in support of it being a natural thing and other evidence that it's a choice. I know some of the dogs I work with, hump other dogs but I was told that that was more of a dominance issue rather than sexual interest. But at that same time, I've seen male dogs intently sniff other male dogs in what appears to be a sexual interest.
