Reunification is not the bottom of the pyramid, therefore yes, there would still be need.

Most definitely. For without God there would be no loved ones to be reunited with. There would be no earth, sun, moon or stars. We would not be here if had not been for God and His great creations. I am looking forward to the day I see Him in Heaven. I pray for all those who do not believe in Him.

We are not going to be reunited with them. Just think about a case where somebody asked Jesus, “If a man have been married a couple of times, who is going to be with once he goes to heaven?” Jesus said that his Kingdom is not about that. I understand that we are not going to join our love one when we die. Enjoy them now.

Forget the "If there was substantial ......" .. There is no need for religion in any case. Fearful people, lost people, stupid people, superstitious people, and more, have a need for religion. In general, those who cannot rely upon themselves need a higher power. Those who can, ... don't.

There is no need for religion as it is. Religion is corrupt and always has been. From the Crusades to the controversy with the Priests, religion has always not been about God, but about personal needs. God is the only thing you need and he is always needed.

there is no need for religion, even if you believe in the hereafter. There may be a need for faith, but not for religion, which serves no purpose but to cause conflict.

There is a need for God more than anything else, for without him we are nothing...and our loved ones would never have existed either.
