there is the basic one where you mix ketchup, horseradish and lemon and dip the shrimp in it.
I have a twist to shrimp cocktail and it is heavenly.
2 lbs cooked peeled and cooled shrimp
1 cucumber diced small
2 medium tomatoes dices small
green onions chopped small
cilantro chopped finely
1 lb imitation crab meat (optional)
1 jar Clamato juice ( you can find it in any store by the tomato juice)
2 fresh lemons cut in half
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and pour the clamato over top, squeeze in the lemon and add salt and Tabasco if you like it spicy.
