My boyfriend and I had a huge misunderstanding (on his part). At first I thought he had broken up with me but when I asked him, all he said was, he didn't know what to say. He said he just feels distant towards me and it hurts him because he likes me so much. Since that conversation, I have discovered he is back on the dating site that we met on. I have tried countless times to explain to him that he misunderstood what I was trying to convey to him. He will not respond except to say he wants to forget it and that he keeps hoping that time will make things better. I am crushed by the fact that he is back on the dating site. He doesn't know that I know this. Should I confront him over it and see what he says or should I just leave it be, give him space and see where it takes us? Of course, now I don't know if I will ever be able to trust him again....I am in love with him which is why I'm at such a crossroads with this. If I didn't care so much, I would just be able to move on.

Definitely confront him. If he had true feelings for you he would not be there looking for someone else. Better face the truth now instead of digging bigger hole for yourself in the future.
