Recipe Summary
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Yield: 10 chocolate-covered strawberr

6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
10 large strawberries with long stems

Line a baking sheet with foil or waxed paper.

In the top of a double boiler set over hot water melt the chocolate, stirring. Add the 3 tablespoons of cream and the butter and stir until smooth. Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip into the chocolate mixture allowing the excess chocolate to drip back into the pan. If necessary, add additional cream to the chocolate to achieve desired coating consistency. Transfer the coated strawberry to the lined sheet and repeat process. Allow the chocolate to cool and then chill the strawberries until chocolate is set, about 20 to 30 minutes.

Melt some milk chocolate (or white, dark - whatever your fav.) in a double broiler. Put a little water in one pot and put another of about the same size on top of that. Put in the chocolate and melt it. Be careful to keep stirring and not let it burn. Then, just dip the strawberries in it. If there's not enough chocolate to actually dip them in, drizzle it down them with a spoon.
Sounds good! Now you've got me wanting them!

You get the strawberries and you can go to the store and buy the chocolate that gets hard on ice cream and dip the strawberries in there so it won't drip all over the place

My grandmother told me all you have to do is melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips, add some milk, and maybe some sugar. You can either put it and melt it in a pan or the microwave. After is melt you have to dip the strawberries fast and put them on wax paper after being dipped.

get the chocolate that comes in a brick (white or milk chocolate) for making the molded chocolate lollipops, melt it in a double boiler. Rinse and dry your strawberries and dip them and set them on a buttered piece of wax paper or cookie sheet.

Take large juicy strawberries, wash them and let them airdry.

Melt your favorite chocolate (over water bath) and dip the strawberries in it. Set them on wax paper and let them set up.

melt chocolate - you may have to add some wax to it (you can buy sealing wax - colorless/odorless/tasteless) and keep it just warm enough to stay liquid - don't overheat!

Dip the strawberries in it, and then set them to cool.

The wax helps make the chocolate shiny and stick to the berry/hold it's shape.

Enjoy!
