hi i would like to say what are your thought about my grandpa he fought in the
guadacannel during world war two him and his platoon of 75 were captured
by the japaneese and then beheaded my grandpa was the only one that was
not beheaded he was a british soilder fighting under the american flag .

Anyone who fought the Japanese at Guadacannel deserves the thanks and respect of all the citizens of all the Allied nations. The Pacific campagne was a bloody nightmare and the Japanese treated POWs worse than anyone can imagine.

He's a real american hero.
I'm sure he is/was a really cool guy- I would have liked to meet him.
