I will be putting myself on a supervised diet, and would like to know some names of some doctor prescribed diet pills. I would also like to know some diets or programs I can go on that would be a good diet for me to go on.

Well, I don't know about pills, but I know someone who lost, in the last 5 months, fifty pounds by going to weight watchers. She also suffers from adult-onset diabetes, and by strictly following the diet program, her blood-sugar level fell something thirty points in a week. Pretty crazy! I highly recommend it.

My home-made diet/exercise program:

Do not make a high goal, first of all. It's a health risk to lose more than 3 pounds a week. Besides, that much in a week would probably be water weight, which comes right back.

Try taking a walk for 30 minutes a day, adding 10 minutes each week. Once you get up to an hour long walk, start biking or jogging for 20 minutes a day, adding on minutes once again. By the time you are biking or jogging for an hour a day, just keep at it and you'll keep losing.

Remember to EAT YOUR BREAKFAST. Eating Breakfast will reduce your hunger and increase your energy throughtout the day. You should have a large breakfast, smaller lunch, and light dinner. Or you can have multiple small meals throughout the day. Avoid snacking at night, and when you really want junk food, eat a half serving and substitute the other half with a fruit or veggie. Make sure you drink water too, it's helpful in losing weight faster. Be sure to lay off soda...it's high in cals.

That's how I lost 80 pounds of fat and gained 20 pounds of muscle in 5.5 months.

Best of luck!=)

(P.S. Do NOT try diet pills! They seriously screw up your stomach and metabolism. I know from experience. The appitite reducers also make people think you're anorexic. My family nearly put me in a clinic. I never used the actual pills, but I did use an allergy med for a short amount of time that contained the same ingredients. My doctor didn't tell me about that. *groan*)

The South Beach Diet really worked for me. You can skip the first part about cutting out carbs if you want to. It is just a better way of eating, ex: whole grains instead of white flour. The book is describes how it works and why it is a healthier way to live.

35 pounds in 5-6 month is unhealthy and dangerous
you should only aim for 1-2 pounds per month through proportioning your food and exercise

if you are that desperate to lose weight that fast, you should consider surgery. at least thats safer than weight lost with those pills

first you need to get a check up to make sure its ok to do anything exercise wise. the norm is 3 to 5 pounds a week if you eat your meals in what they call the size of your fist portions. if your going to snake, make it fruits a veggies. walking a few miles a day helps you lose weight and stay away from alot of processed food. fresh everything is the best. low or no carbs is best. whole grain breads. and no salt and sugar. you can build up walking to 5 or more miles a day and you will lose weight safely.

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes.

And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you.
