For all interested, am in the ministry several times a week, and why should I not be on Q&A's counteracting the false or incorrect answers that disfellowshipped or apostates, a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion.

Just glad I made the headlines, do me a favor next time, put it in "neon" lights.

By the way "butch" it's none of your business, whether I count time on Q&A's or not.

The only reason for your ???, is to receive negative answers, so let's take a survey since you like to ask & receive.

1. Were any of you ever a Jehovah's Witness?

2. Did you just decide to leave without a reason?

3. Was there a reason?

4. Were you disfellowshipped?

5. If you were disfellowshipped, for what reason?
Here are some reasons one can be removed from
the Congregation, please choose one or more.

Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.

6. Or is it just because you hate what we believe?

7. JW's are in 235 lands & islands, we respect the flag of each country unlike most christian religions, Why do you think, the prisons are full of so-called Christians, why is it that so-called Christians are the ones that "burn, spit, step on the "flag" and show disrespect not only to the flag but to the country they live in?
I can think of a President of the U.S.A. that saluted or said the pledge of allegiance every day, yet He had to leave office because of wrong doing, and the deliberate act of deviating from the truth. So the saluting and pledge is not what makes you a good person, it's obeying God's Word, that does.

8. Is it because of people that could care less about
God's rules that are layed out in the Bible, you
people have 3 things on your brain, Catholics,
Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses.

9. Why don't you people wise up and start acting like a
Christian, isn't that what most of you claim to be?

Bill

To "LovelyEmily" is it not more easily for 4 people to get into a car with 4 doors instead of 2 doors? My neighbors on each side of my home, have 4 door cars, and they are not Jehovah's Witnesses, you think maybe I should tell them to trade their cars in for a 2 door, because 4 doors are for JW's only.

Did Jesus, when on earth, wear a beard? Certainly it was a custom strictly held by the Jews. Jesus, born a Jew, “came to be under law” and he fulfilled the Law. (Ga 4:4; Mt 5:17) Like all other Jews, Jesus was dedicated to Jehovah God from his birth, by reason of the Law covenant, and was under obligation to keep the whole Law, including the prohibition on shaving the extremity of the beard. Also, at the time that Jesus was on earth, the Roman custom was beardlessness. Therefore, if Jesus had been beardless, he would have been challenged as being either a eunuch or a Roman. Significantly, a prophecy concerning Jesus’ suffering states: “My back I gave to the strikers, and my cheeks to those plucking off the hair.” Isa 50:6.

We must take into consideration that Jehovah’s people are under scrutiny by the world. The message of the Kingdom that they are taking to the people is sometimes judged by the appearance of those bringing it. There is the possibility that a Christian brother or sister dressed in a certain style might so attract the attention of the person at the door that the person does not pay attention to what the Christian is saying, or concludes that we are no different from worldlings in morals or principles. If this is the case, then the message bearer is defeating the whole purpose of his or her field service. We are called upon, at times, to sacrifice our own convenience, to a greater or lesser degree, according to the need, in order to avoid stumbling some. This was the attitude of the apostle Paul: “In no way are we giving any cause for stumbling, that our ministry might not be found fault with; but in every way we recommend ourselves as God’s ministers. 2 Cor. 6:3, 4.

Today Christian ministers, like the early Christians, are concerned with neatness and cleanness, but they strive to dress inconspicuously, so that their appearance does not in any way detract from the dignity or the effectiveness of the message they bear. (2 Cor. 6:3, 4) In recent years in many lands a beard or long hair on a man attracts immediate notice and may, in the minds of the majority, classify such a person undesirably with extremists or as rebels against society. God’s ministers want to avoid making any impression that would take attention away from their ministry or hinder anyone from listening to the truth. They know that people are watching true Christians very critically and that to a great extent they judge the entire congregation and the good news by the minister’s appearance as a representative of the congregation.

Although Jehovah's Witnesses do strive to put God first in their lives (Matthew 6:33) and spend as much time as possible volunteering in the Christian ministry (Matthew 28:19,20), they do not engage in this work 24/7, as you seem to infer.

Personally, I think Bill has provided an abundance of helpful information to many who are really searching for scripturally based answers. Whether or not he reports that time is between him and Jehovah.

So, what are you doing to spread the good news, if I may ask?

That's between Bill and his maker.

Naturally, there is no substitute for a Christian to perform door-to-door ministry. The Scriptures indicate that Jesus personally instructed his disciples to go door-to-door. Although they are a relatively small religion, Jehovah's Witnesses clearly embody the most prominent global fulfillment of that Christian assignment. Frankly, you can call yourself a Christian all day long, but if you disregard the door-to-door preaching work, who are you really disregarding?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest. 3 Go forth. Look! I am sending you forth as lambs in among wolves. ...16 “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

we as Jehovah Witnesses also have homes and things to do at home. we clean, shop and pay bills. yes we are out door to door work but we do not do it 24/7. Jehovah God and Jesus Christ wants us to take care of our families also. Jehovah comes first but if we don't take care of our family then Jehovah would be upset with us. we have to pay bills to have electric and we go shopping to have food in the house also. guess what we even watch TV and listen to the radio also. why don't you learn about Jehovah Witnesses. and go door to door with us. you may learn something. also we are not a cult. we are a religion in 235 lands. Bill thanks for saying all that. I love your answers. Bill I have a question, what about the presidents who could not keep there pants closed??? there are many. you forget to add that about the presidents.
