OKay for all the people out there he has told his friends he wants to get with me I don't understand how you sya something like that and then when you are around the person you get all choked up it's so annoying.

Depends on how old you two are. He may really like you and he's actually scared about it. He may not be getting signs from you that you like him, so instead of getting hurt and putting himself 'on the line', he's protecting himself.

It means accept the fact that he is your friend and stop worrying about it. I have a feeling you wouldn't have such a hard time finding a replacement for this guy, move on to bigger and better things...

It means that he really does like you but something in his life right now is keeping him from stating it directly to you. Maybe theres another girl in his life, or maybe he can't afford a girl right now, or maybe he is to shy to say he loves you.
