The important is not how to clean the shell, it is that - keep the cat in a warm and dry place while it's shell is removed. (I hope you didn't want to wash the shell while the cat is in!!!)

A CAT has NO shell! It is simply called such because the coloring is similar to that of a tortoise. PLEASE DEAR *DOG* HELP THEM WHO ARE TOO DUMB TO GET REAL LIVES AND CONTINUE TO HAVE AIR IN THE HEAD !

Pressure washer....try it out on yourself first though to make sure the pressure is high enough.
