no no no...i KNOW cats drink out of the toilet...but look at the video link! he is sO strange LOL! makes me laUGH!

my kitten drinks out of the toilet. I don't know why. Her mother doesn't do this so I don't know where the kitten learned this from. And she (the kitten) also drowns all her toys when she is done playing with them. I read that some kittens and cats actually like playing in water. Who knew?

Pretty cat! Yes I have a cat that I adopted from the spca and when we first had her home we heard some weird splashing coming from the bathroom. I looked in and saw Katey IN the toilet with her front feet out on the seat splashing around with her back feet. Now THAT was weird. She hasn't done it since about a week after that though.

My Siamese will bypass his water dish for a drink from the toilet, any time he can.

I thought he was going to pee all over your rug after all that water. He must like "fresh" water, so that's why he drinks out of the toilet. If you can afford it get him one of those little Drinkwell water fountains. He'll love that.

yes my cat has drank out of the toilet,he will drink anywhere he can find fresh cold water{the sink,tub,if there are any drips}
