You shoulda reminded them that they are in YOUR country, so they have no real moral leg to stand on calling us fat and lazy. If we were all these horrible things, then their countries are so much better, right?

Wake up, dude. Why are you so angry? Who called you white trash, lazy, and fat? You should just be angry at that person, not a whole generic group of people such as all the illegal immigrants. You are getting called a racist because racists hate an entire race of people. When you just throw around the words "illegal immigrants" you are talking about a few races of people. Do you know every illegal immigrant personally? I thought not. Pop a Prozac and watch less of the Fox News Channel, please.
PS--Unless you are a Native American, one of your ancestors had to immigrate to this country. Did they do it legally or did they just arrive on a boat and try to make something of themselves? Try to put things into perspective and you might not feel you have the right to hate a group of people, after all.

You missed the point. They reported you because of that, but no action was taken against you unless you broke one of Yahoo! Answers rules. Under each participants name is a button called "Report Abuse". When they insult you, you write the following: A one word answer to their question (as it is an abuse to not answer the question, called "Not a Question or an Answer"), then write, "REPORTED", then remind others, if you want, to do the same.
It looks like this:
34, REPORTED, please report this abuse as ....... (fill in type of abuse according to Yahoo!'s list).
I'm pretty sure I've been reported dozens of times, but I've never had anything removed. Yahoo! Answers is very tolerant, but that also means they are very careful. Don't insult anyone. Insult their actions, their words, etc. There's a difference. Better yet, actually talk to them, disagree with them, and leave the insults out. Most of us don't admire the one's doing the insulting.

You people are disgusting. Yahoo is a world-wide site--hence, more than just Americans are on here, and America is more than fat, happy white folk, thank God. And somehow, to the asker, I doubt you merely "defended" yourself.

They reported you most likely cause you didnt give the answer they wanted....I have noticed that on here...I laugh it off. The illegals can talk trash about us but yet they like to live off of us lol

If you were profane about it, I can see why some would report you. I've been told that when somebody is reported, nothing happens. Is that true? Of course, if it was true, you wouldn't know you were reported, right? I'm sorry you had the problem for defending your rights.

report them he/she broke the rules. state facts don't us derogatory language or resort to name calling. you shouldn't be reported then.
