For those of you, that enjoying thinking the Air Force just sits around during war, you are completely wrong. The Air Force does have ground troops, they also participate with the army in convoys and patrols. The Air Force is not just a bunch of 9 - 5 pilots. We deploy constantly and we are being put into the brunt of combat as with any other service. If you have any other questions on this topic, my Purple Heart and Bronze Star would gladly answer them for you.

Define combat. Since the USAF has no ground troops, "combat" is a misnomer, however, if your question is whether or not female officers can fly sorties over enemy territories/hostile zones, the answer is yes.

Women aren't allowed in combat roles. Women however are able to be pilots and weapons officers in which case you would be deployed into combat.

yes of course as do all services. Females are limited from certain ground combat job fields, which I think in the AF is just special forces (PJ/CCT). Plenty combat pilots though.

Yes. The whole Air Force is not the chair force and we all aren't pilots. And, yes, we have ground forces, and yes we are in combat.
