What happens if I start taking "the Pill" one week after my period ends?

My doctor told me to take it the SUnday after my period Starts, but I need to change the cycle, has anyone taken it a week after period ends?

thats perfectly ok! you will get your period a week later the next month, thats all.

Well nothing, other then it could mess up or make your period more predictable. I say or because the pill is a trigger for a certain female hormone (sorry, i forgot which one) that regulates your period. If your period is fine, this sudden trigger of mass production of the hormone could mess up your period. Some times the pill is used to regulate already messed up periods but once you get off it, it messes up your period even worse then it was before because your body depends on the pill for a normal production of this homone, so without it, your hormone production level lowers.

Speak to a doctor first. Not everyone takes the pill and each person is different as to when it is safe to do so.

It just means it will regulate you for your next one and hopefully keep you from getting pregnant...
