I've had a long distance relationship with someone for 5 months now and one day he stopped calling and IM messaging. After about three weeks I decided to IM him and left a message on his screen just asking how he was doing and how has things been and for him not to be a stranger and drop a message sometimes. He IM'd back while I was online the next day and asked if I wanted to play an online game with him while he was on a break. We played and chatted a little bit catching up with things. I invited him to play a game of chess and he accepted and so we have been on a chess match for past couple of days now with the score 7-0, him leading. Anyway, besides the point, after the game he would say "I hope you have a sweet dream, baby" or "Bye for now sweetie I will talk to you here again soon" with an emotion icon sending a kiss. Does this means that he's still somewhat interested in continuing our relationship? He is single and not married or have a girlfriend. Any thoughts?

If you haven't met this guy yet then y'all didn't have a relationship, y'all were buddies. If you did meet him, then it sounds like he's not into you anymore. Either way, move on and stop reading in between the lines. Don't sit around wasting the pretty. Start chatting with another dude.

I think the more patriarchal a society is, the more hostile they are to gays, so they suppress any gay tendencies. They accuse all feminists of being gay because they can't stand the idea of a heterosexual woman having abilities that might enable her to live on her own after dumping an abusive husband. Many of them are so insecure, they want to think of women as just vassals used only to pass on their genes, while they have all the mental and physical abilities, plus all the civil rights, and everything else in the universe revolves around their egos. As you know by the way women are mutilated in some societies, a lot of chauvinists not only fear women's mental and physical abilities, but also women's sexuality. So you can see that if they had their way, women would experience no sexual pleasure, have no real mental or physical abilities other than reproduction and cleaning up after them.

I'm curious as to how you're sure that he is still single. It doesn't sound like the relationship is very important to him after going 3 weeks. Sorry, but from my point of view here it sounds like he's just got you on the side. Although, I am interested on what men say about it.

It sounds as though he is still somewhat interested in a casual relationship with you. However, how do you know that he isn't in another relationship or married? Anyway, keep it simple for your sake and don't commit too deeply until you have more assurances. :)

It is usually not good when they just up and stop talking to you, but he could have been busy with work or something. I would just ask him next time you guys are just chattin. Tell him your just curious were you stand in this relationship if you guys have one because you care about him and missed talking to him.
