as i write my cat is bugging me, pesky little thing...meow this and meow that, jumps up on my lap, digging into my legs with her hind claws, actually trying to put her front legs around my neck as if to "hug" me. very affectionate, but annoying. yes, i've heard of developed cat allergies, they're not that uncommon.

I put my laptop on the dining room table and put two small soft cat beds next to it. Thay way I can reach up and pet them once in a while and they feel confident they can keep an eye on my activities, without jumping on the keyboard.

I wasn't allergic when I was younger but I am now. Really bad. I can walk into someone's house and instantly tell if they have a cat.

My dog drives me nuts when I'm on the computer. He can't stand it if I am doing anything that doesn't involve him. He climbs on me and pushes his nose on my leg.

My cat used to jump up and sit on whatever I was reading, or the keybord, it he had to. Not so comfortable, but he had to be where I was looking. I miss my cat.
