I'm @ work and REALLY tired. I have 4 hours to go, and would like to know if there are any "tricks" you guys have to wake/energize me just long enough to make it through work. Any ideas? Oh, and I have no way to leave and get any caffeine (i'm the only one in the store).

Deep breathing, progressive muscle contraction and relaxation (start at your feet and work your way up), stand up and sit down repeatedly to increase bllod flow and lastly (and a little corny but it works) do some visualization-
visualize yourself doing something energetic that you like to do like waterskiing or cycling or hiking- feel the sun, the wind, smell the smells, really get into while giving yourself suggestions that you feel so energized (again, corny, but it is a mild form of self hypnosis that really works..)

Good luck zippy,

Any kind of physical activity will get your blood pumping and adrenaline going. Try walking around the store at a fast pace.
Good luck!

Can you move around? When you're alone, jog in place, do jumping jacks, anything to increase the heart rate. Write notes to friends, letters to family....stimulate your brain.

Try running in place, or anything to get your heart pumping. It will stimulate endorphins and relieve your fatigue.

walk around, it will increase your blood pressure and wake you up for a bit...I think other than that you just need to listen to your body and take a nap...
