When you are asked to be friends with benifits, their asking to be a sex partner. No matter if you have a man or they have a girl, the both of you will always have sex, while still having sex with other people. Friends with benifits is all about sex, which isn't right at all. That's how people end up with STD's and diseases along that line. So if I were you, you should tell that person that you pass on the offer. It's either you strictly friends, or nuffin.

It means friends who get it on now and then when they each need a little lovin'. Depending on how old you are, I would say that it is never a good idea to do that with your friends. It can have serious emotional consequences if you become attached and the other person doesn't, not to mention the loss of a friend if you or the other person get hurt by that kind of a relationship. Don't let someone else delude you into believing that it isn't a relationship because sex is a relationship. Period.

I think you should ask the person proposing this eactly what they eman by the phrase, what they're thinking of, what the rules and expectations would be.

Usually it means that they want to be friends, with the emotional relationship of friends not of lovers, but they also want to have sex together any time you both feel like it. Normally it also implies that there is not comittment to sexual faithfulness or to emotional faithfulness beyond that normal between friends.

If you like each other as friends, both enjoy sex, and both want to have no-strings sex with each other, I guess this could be a good thing, but I think there are a lot of ways it could go wrong: one of you might start falling in love with the other, there could be jealousy issues, if it doesn't work out it could also ruin the friendship, and so on

It means you are friends who have sex when there is nothing better to do (or really, no one better to do). If you want a relationship, this is not the way to go. If you just want to get laid and not worry about any strings attached, then be a friend with benefits.

realy you have all the benifits of going out(kissing, making out, sex etc.) but none of the commitments of being in a relationship such as being truthful, or only commited to that one person, or actually going out....it can be a tough situation if one person falls for the other for real

Friends that fool around. No relationship or commitment. They are free to mess with you and whoever else they want. This goes for you too. Feelings are not involved

I would guess they don't ask in front of your parents. And why would that be? Because they know they are asking a dishonorable thing of you. For their own selfish pleasure they would use you up, but they would put a thin veneer of respectability on it by calling the two of you friends.

it means we are having a party just the two of us and you are bringing the a'ss. it friends who have uncommitted sex. lots of guys say that but they aren't usually ready any where in their minds to actually go through with it. that's why they call them boys. don't think it an insult that guys just want to bang you and not love you, your sexuality is speaking louder than your heart is to them. don't complain about being sexy, you could be homely and an introvert.
