Not a family hand-me down . . . but does have to do with "family"

When I was pregnant I had a craving. I wanted Pumpernickel bread. The blacker, the better.

Then I wanted something to go on top of the bread, because it's a rather dry bread. I think of Applesauce.

Then I have to put something onto the "sandwich" and I think Muenster cheese.

Then, to top it all off . . . I put chopped walnuts.

It was a good sandwich, actually.

Deep-fat-fried Fish Finger sandwiches with deep-fat-fried bacon, HP Sauce, and if you can fit it in, a small deep-fat-fried beefburger.

I'd love to try fried insects :-)
Seriously, there are people around the world who regularly have this :-)

Tahini (pulped sesame seeds) and marmite sandwiches... Mmmm... Even better than peanut butter!

Black pepper and balsamic vinegar on strawberries... Not one of my favourites, but parents love it.
