I have seen some families that the resemblance is amazing! It almost looks like a family of mini me's. Like they had sex on an assembly line! my family isnt like that really.......Out of six kids that are from the same parents:
my mom has brown eyes and brown hair, she is 5'7" and avg build
dad has hazel eyes and brown hair with some red highlights, he is 6' 4" in height and broad shoulders
girl red hair green eyes 5' 9" very thin
boy brown hair blue eyes 6'4" avg build
girl blonde hair brown eyes 5' 7" avg build
girl brown hair blue eyes 5' 9" very thin
boy drk brn hair brown eyes 6' 4" avg build
boy blonde hair blue eyes 6' 7" very thin
some of us have a little darker skin than others but pretty avg. I think im the only one that really resembles my mom. What about your family?

They say I look like my mom. Most people think she's my sister. So either I (at 25) look like I'm 40-ish or she's looking damn good for her age =)
I dunno about my dad. I don't look much like him except for the beard *ROFLMFAO* JUST KIDDING!

My family has 6 kids from the same two parents. All of my siblings have dark eyes (except my lil sis), very dark hair, and can tan very easily. I, on the other hand, have green eyes, my hair was blond when little, now darker, and I am very, very white and cannot tan.

Often one parent's genes will overide the other's or occasionally genetics go wacky and you have kids that look more like someone back down the line, grandma or grandpa. Perhaps it's a lack of distinct features..
I'm a clone of my mother and grandmother in both personality traits and appearance, and even a fair bit like my -great - grandmother and I didn't even know any of them until I was 11 years old. It wasn't anything learned. Kinda freaky... Something about those genes just cant be watered down.

Yes I do.. but genes can jump around alot and even skip a generation or 2 in some cases on either the moms or the dads side of the family.

People always think we're sisters. Pictures of us when we were young look so similar, even my grandma can't tell the difference sometimes.

my family don't look like clones of each other... but like most families, have our similarities...
however, my cousins (from my mums side... New Zealand) both have red hair and freckles.... one is 6ft 4" and one is 6ft 7"! Their father has brown hair and is 6ft 4" and their mum is NZ maori with dark hair and tanned skin!
They definately look different haha
Our great grandfathers mother was irish and had red hair... so theres definately been some genes skipping around there =oP

My family looks very similar to each other. My mom is 5'4", light brown hair (blond when she was younger), blue eyes, thin build. My dad is 5'8", red hair, hazel eyes, thin build. My brother is 6'2", light blond hair, hazel eyes, thin build. I'm 5'6", light blond hair, blue eyes, thin build.

i am from a family of 6 kids too. we are weird. my parents have dark brown hair. and all the kids are blond except me, i have dark brown hair! when all of the kids stand together for a picture, it looks like i was adopted!

People often ask if my sister and I are twins..even though to me we look nothing alike...she's much prettier than me :)...although I believe I do look a lot like my dad (minus the mustache and other male parts of course lol), a lot of people have told me I look a lot like him. My sis looks like an exact replica of my mum when she was her age...it's almost scary how similar they look

most familes resemble one of the parents. everyone in my family, the girls look like the mothers and the men like the fathers, but to each other we don't look alike. its usually the oldest that looks like the generations back.
