my hair is a little past my shoulders and really curly i want a punk rock look what styles can i do?

ive tried it short and it doesnt look as good as you would think it would

i have bangs

my bangs are messed up cuz i tried cutting them and my hair is really thick

i wear black shirts and black eyeliner and jeans with holes in em. i just need to fix my hair and get some shoes and im done!!

Depends on how extreme you want to go.

The more extreme, the more it's gonna shock people, which of course will make it more punk.

I would go with an unconventional color no matter what, because you can get them semi-permanent, so if you change your mind, no problem. Besides, blue or bright red hair is much more shocking than brown or blonde... If you want to get a little more artsy, a color combo could look cool. Personally, I think black and red is a cool combo (I tend to like the mixture of natural extreme with UNnatural extreme, so black with weird color, or bleached with weird color).

As to the cut itself, super extreme would be mohawk or liberty spikes- although you can take them down, so while extreme, it doesn't require commitment. A short haircut is good, cause it can be spiked, styled into a faux hawk or just left alone, and still look punk (as long as it's a good cut already). Or you could just keep the length, straighten your hair, and get sort of sharp, edgy looking, shaggy layers.

um if you want a punk rock hairstyle and you have bangs, go with liberty spikes. they look really good on girls with bangs and then if you need to look all like proffessional or something for work/whatever, you can just take em down and youll have a regular hair cut.

throw on some black eye liner, black t-shirt, tight torn up acid wash jeans, maybe some fish net( i don't dig it) baby and your punk! plz don't kill the curls, i love girls with curly hair. you don't need the hair to go punk. you could always try the japanese look. but plzzzz i dig girls in the curls. curls are sexy
