I just had my baby 5 1/2 weeks ago. Well me and my husband had sex 2 1/2 weeks after I had the baby and after my lochia had stopped. We've had protected sex only once .. About 1 1/2 weeks ago I started waking up every morning sick to my stomach. Its just like a dull nauseation that doesn't go away even after I eat in the morning. It usually disappears in the evening.

Second thing .. I started spotting really lightly Sunday morning and its light pink. Is this my period or is this implantation bleeding?

Could I be pregnant again? Or am I just sick to my stomach for no reason and starting my period back up again?

When I found out I was pregnant with my son I had nausea that started around 2 weeks ...

I also have taken a HPT this last weekend and it came out negative. I think it would still be too early to tell. But I won't know when to take one cause I still haven't had my period. And I am nursing so I won't know when I have my real period...

Any help ?????

It is very possible that you are pregnant again - there is no pause for most women after giving birth - they immediately start ovulating again, and since hormones are still a little out of whack, there isn't a consistent schedule. And you are right, it may be too early for an HPT to tell, try again in a couple weeks. I highly recommend talking to your OB/GYN though!!

I got pregnant with my son when my daughter was 12 weeks old. You are VERY fertile right after delivery.....but of course no one told me this until AFTER I was pregnant. It was tough for a while, but now they are 3 and 4 and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are growing up together. They do everything together. They even sleep together. They don't like to be apart. If one stays the night somewhere, the other has to! They are so close. So, if you are, hang it there, it'll be fine!

You could be preganant but maybe you've just disturbed something that wasn't quite healed after you had your baby. That's why it's strongly reccomende my 99% of doctors not to have sex for at least 6 weeks after childbirth.

I think you need to call your doc. You may oe may not be preg. Sometime it takes your body so time to get regular again and period can be totally different from beore your baby. I would call the doc.

If you produce enough hormone to feel nauseated then your PT should be positive... sounds like your just feeling alittle paranoid... Relax and go to your 6 week check!

Yes, you broke too many DO NOT DO things that the only plausible answer would be, Go See your doctor immediately.

Congratulations on the newborn.

Normal vaginal fluids can vary somewhat in texture and color. They can be somewhat thin, sticky, and elastic or thick and gooey. Vaginal fluids should be clear, white, or off-white in color.
