when i went to italy i had gelato everyday and i think it is so much better than american ice cream!!! it's the best. anyone agree with me??

Gelato is really good. Yes better than ice cream I agree.
Try Ciao Bella Gelato if you have Whole Foods Market in the neighborhood. One pint/ one unit of Gelato cost anywhere from $3:50-$4.10. Don't give me that "Ah Dam! That's expensive!" face or thought!

In the US, 1 regular scope of Gelato serving can be expensive and over-priced. I said so is by Comparing the production cost, how much of one scope you're getting, and how much you're paying. Most Italian place or Gelato place is a ripe off.

So get Ciao Bella if you get a chance- they're very yummy!

We eat Eis, Eiskreme at the Gelateria!
Germans, like Americans only know how to package ice cream!
The fresh gelato tasts a whole lot better than FACTORY!

I had Italian gelato when I was stationed in Germany. Better not look at your cholesterol levels, though- there is a lot of egg yolk in the custard-base of gelato.
