I have a Win2003 domain and want to install Exchange 2003 on a member server.
I have installed all the prerequisites and I have run the ForestPrep and DomainPrep, but when I try to install Exchange I get the following message.....
Exchange could not install because exchange could not find Windows Active Directory. Error:
Of course there is not error!! (well done Microsoft!)

did u install Active directory , directory service on your system?

Is this a Windows 2003 DC (Domain Controller)?

If not, you need to run DCPROMO on the member server before installing exchange.

Lastly, you might specify your OS and the version of Exchange you are attempting to load.
