my brother wont let me play football w/ the guys anymore. he doesnt let me go anywhere by myself. i cant hang w/ all guys, and i cant go to parties and dance unless he approves the outfit. why is he like this? plz help. are all brothers like this?

hes older than me, hes kinda like my dad. but not really. my friends think hes just protective.

he is protective and later u will appreciate that...he's watching out for ya....be glad,some us arent that lucky to have an extra eye out....i know sometimes,it gets on your nerves,but he just loves ya...and he's a man...so he wants to make sure ur ok....

It is annoying but he is just protecting you. At some point you will probably have to get him to mind his own business but remember, he is a guy and so he knows what a lot of young guys are like. He probably hates the thought of one of them mistreating you.
So really, good intentions!

ha ha your brother sounds like my cousin i love him to death but at times he can be a bit over protective....... i think its cause of love be greatful that you have someone who cares about u

b/c he is a guy and he knows how guys think and what they think about--he is being protective of you. it is probably his way of showing you that he cares about you.
