Let us hope not. You could imagine the possibilities of (morally) weaker members rushing to find ways to avoid the call-up if they knew it was coming in advance of the announcement. Also, there is probably a legitimate fear that if any of our opponents knew which units were coming in or going home farther in advance, it could be used strategically against us even more. Then our counter would be to have another period before the new openly announced period on the calendar that we would use to make plans in secret to counter their efforts to counter our deployments. Then our troops who got used to knowing a 6-month deployment calendar (for example) could then start wanting to know the secret/classified plans of what deployments are coming up before that. As you can see, as frustrating as the current method is, it's still preferable to the alternative. Especially since the alternative will eventually just become the same as the current method in the mind's eye anyway. Hope this helps. Sorry it's so verbose.
Hang in there soldier, and God Bless.

Well... I doubt they would put something like that online because it's a sensitive matter when it comes to the security of our country.
On a personal note - my husband was deployed to Iraq.. he knew the 'about' time he was supposed to go which was last Sept... but they don't give you dates too far in advance ... for security issues... and the plain old fact that the Army really doesn't know what's going on half the time.
Because you are in the Army... I would suggest asking your chain of command... even then they really don't know because they get the word from the 'big guy' ... which usually comes in at the last minute anyways.

No ther is not, Unit deployment is a classified matter, and not published on the internet. To do so would be a security risk and would be breaking OPSEC. I do know that your unit is deployed often, so often that you should find out riiiiggghhhhttt NOW!
