her step mother is very ill with cancer and we need to contact her urgetly If any one in the Torquay area can help would be most greatfull

Try the local radio station. They might be willing to put out a broadcast asking her to make contact with you.

We dont know who you are so Im giving you the benefit of doubt here and all should be careful as you may well be who you say you are or may not be... but radio or newspaper or contact hostels or posters in nightclub ie what music is she into etc
She may have a good reason for avoiding you as its is strange you have no way to contact her in the same country if all is well and her friends wont contact her for you either.

It depends, does she live there full time or is she just visiting. Either way, you should maybe try the British embassy for assistance. If she is living there, they would be better able to access the local authorities to assist in finding her. If she is just visiting, hotels in Europe require a passport to register, so she will be easy to find.

hi i lost contact with my brother for 13 years and then found him on freinds reunited 4 months ago its been great being in contact with him again and my advise is to try that ........... i`ve also found quite a few freinds on there to ........ sorry to hear the bad news of tania`s step mum hope you find her and my advise as helped you ...x.x
