his ear's gone all of a sudden? what happened? has these ever happeend to you befor?

It sounds like maybe he got in a fight. You should take him to the vet to have him checked for infections.

Did you have a dream where you were eating beef jerky... if so you probably ate it. If it is an outside cat... meaing all the time is outside. It probably got into a "cat fight" and got it removed or another animal chewed it off... all things can happen. If it is still bleeding stop it so it doesn't get infected. I have a cat with three legs... never did find where it left the fourth one.

I once had a cat with no ears and no tail, he got caught in a combine. I doubt thats what happened to your cat though, maybe he had a fight with a dog or something.

yes a tom cat got to my fixed male and nearly took is entire ear off. I was able to save him soon enough and the vet sowed it back on.

your cat probably got attacked by something it should have been killed by whatever did it. do it and me a favor put it in a bag and beat it with a baseball bat. then put the bag in the trash. (good thing about this is no clean up) or u could bury it up to its neck and mow the lawn.

on animal planet these kids put rubber bands on this cats ear and after a while it squeezed into its ear and it fell off...... I don't know if that helps you out though!!!!! :) :P :D >_<

I take it he hasnt been neutered....... Male cats are very territorial, and they will fight each other for rights to local females. For your cats safety, get him neutered.
Theres financial help out there too, if you need it.

prob a fight, def take him in to make sure infection does not set in. how would you feel if you lost an ear, would you like your parents to be on the internet asking ?'s? take him to a vet!!! asap!!!
