That is highly unlikely, usually state traffic codes apply to "any public place" to include your street, or a commercial parking lot, if the officer sees you commit a traffic violation, he has the authority to pull you over, for example, if you're driving down your street and then you park facing traffic (you may be cited for driving/ parking on wrong side of the road) If you are driving down your street and don't signal when you turn into your driveway (you may be cited for fail to signal intent to turn) I hope this helps.

Not in my state. If you're on a public road, public lot, and depending on the violation, you can recieve a ticket. In my state of Louisiana, you can get a DWI or DUI on a bicycle, horse, lawn mower, skateboard, scooter, boat, as well as a motorcycle, car, truck or plane....also train.

LMAO!! You're joking, right? Of course not! If there was, the joker across the street from me would be doing bleach burnouts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Not in Texas, my sister was ticketed in front of our house.

I don't believe so. As long as the officer is in his jurisdiction, he can ticket you.

Speed down your street without your seat belt on and let us know how that comes out.
