God can not except sin at any level. The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death. The it says we all have sinned. God in his perfect love could let sin separate Him from us. Enter Jesus Christ. He took the sin making an eternal sacrifice in his own blood. He died so we can live. He hold out his hands pleading for you. for all to take the gift. If you stick your nose up in the air and say that you don't need the gift, what do you want do force it on you...

It all comes down to free will.

The truth is the God of the bible is a vein and Jealous God. Why wouldn't an Omnipotent being be vein and Jealous?

Anyway the whole reason for our existence is to show how great God is. The way he decided to do this is to create us with the ability to choose to have a relationship with him or not to.

When Adam and Eve were created all humans had a relationship with God automatically. When they chose to sin this stopped that relationship for all humans. God gave us another way to have a relationship with him through Jesus but because the whole point is we have free will have to choose that relationship it doesn't happen automatically anymore.

So God cares whether or not you are Christian because it's the only way you can really have a relationship with him.

And if you love someone among many other things it means you want a relationship with them right?

John 3:16

Imagine having to give your only child, knowing you could never get him back, just to save a your creation, one that went horribly wrong.
Imagine working as the guy that pulls the lever to let down a bridge, allowing a train to go past. You realize something is stuck in the gears, but a train is hurtling forward. You son moves in and pulls out the item, but hes stuck. The train is coming. Imagine having to watch your son die in the gears, so you can save hundreds of people. Imagine staring at the train, saying, "You do not know my son died for you."
Its not religion that matters. Its relationship. Everyone else does not know God. What other God would save you even if you killed people, thieved, but repented in your old age. You would be forced to suicide to repent, but all God asks is to say I'm sorry.

Depends on your theology I guess. Some religions say God doesn't care what religion you are, just that you follow one and try to get to him.

Christian theology says that you have to be a Christian because of the sin in our lives. Only through a belief and relationship with Christ does his sacrifice cover our sins. Basically, it goes back to the Old Testament and the Jewish belief that there most be a blood atonement for sin, and Christians say that Christ is that for everyone who comes to him.

He does love us all.

I do not know what God thinks about all the religions of the world. I do know that he made all of us, and it would be pretty difficult for him not to love his children.

Being a Catholic gives me grace that I would not otherwise have. It brings me closer to God while I am still on this earth. I feel his presence in the Eucharist. I feel his closeness in prayer.

I believe that all religions really seek closeness with the same God that I seek. I think he gave us his Son to die for all of our sins, not just those in a special 'club'.

I do, however, think that those of us who believe that his Son died for us are granted special gifts that others do not know about. It must make him very happy when we are Christians.

Because we would wreck heaven.

That is the reason why sin happened - Lucifer got jealous and wanted his own way. God warned that anything outside of him is bad because he is author of goodness. Lucifer didn't listen and Adam and Eve fell for it and now we suffer each day because of it.

God's law stand and if you can't believe and love him worship him here, heaven will be hell for you. We have to love God now and here and follow his commandments because we have to do that in heaven. If you hate it here you will hate it in heaven and you will have free will to disobey. Sin will never rise again the Bible says and thus we have to obey God because he knows best and the future. Everybody can't be right - Lucifer aint right and he is not a christian.

God does love everybody but God demand for righteousness is equal to his love. All it takes is one sin and the whole person has become fallen. Look what happened to Satan when he sinned, his entire nature changed from good to wicked. Every person has sinned, don't let anyone (human) fool you and say that they haven't. That is why God provided his holy son to die in our place but God never said anything about following other god's to salvation. And to the person who said that the christian god doesn't want anyone to worship any other God but him, why is he a crock? If you were God and you made sunlight for your creatures, water, air for them to breathe, how would feel if instead of your creatures giving you thanks, they go off and worship things that do not exist?
