First of all "phonetic" speller or not...there is a spell check button.
It does all the "work" for you.

Second, why do you not do some web research on your own???? You are going to need to know A LOT of things and maybe this is not the best venue to get good information. There are TONS of sites that have great info on the topic. There is also the VET!!!! She should be checked out to make sure there are no problems at this point, and then they can help you with all the info.
It is just that there are so many backyard breeders that allow the dog to get pregnant and provide only very basic care and it all could have been avoided by getting the female spayed. There are health check that should be done for every breed BEFORE breeding to ensure healthy puppies are produced. It is sad when people do not care enough to do the best they can for the puppies and the mother. A female should NEVER be bred her first heat. They are too immature.
It would look like you care and are putting forth the effort if you were doing some research someplace other than here.

The normal gestation period for a dog is 60 days. The size of the litter is any ones guess....usually around 6 puppies for a medium sized dog. Make sure to feed your "soon to be momma" puppy food during her pregnancy and until the puppies are weaned as she will need the extra nutrition. Dogs are alot like humans when it comes to labor. She won't want to eat and she will try to find a nice quiet place to have her puppies. She will also have contractions. Watch for the signs and, if possible, bring her indoors where it is safe. Good luck!!

The correct answer to all of this is 73 days from the day they are bred. There is nothing exact in gestation though, know that this is only an average. You dog can have it's puppies a week or week and a half early or late and still be okay.

9 weeks, give or take a few days, between conception and birth. As for the number of pups in a litter, that is very much dependent upon the breed. Some will only have a few, and others will have a dozen or more. - g^2
