I don't know how much you work out but you need to pace yourself, alternating work out with streching (yoga). The aching in your calves are tiny tears & lactic acid build up, this is a natural progression in muscle obtaining definition. Be sure to drink lots of fluids & stretch before & after you work out.

To prevent them from hurting, try getting those new inserts for your heels. Lack of arch support leads to unnecassary strain on your calves, and the insoles provide this support.

don't wear heels so much. ARe your calves hurting or is it your achilles tendon? High heels mess up your body starting with the feet and going all the way up your spine.

Wearing heals - work out more on your calves
Working out - well, if you work out more, the pain will begin to diminish...just keep stretching and soak with hot or cold if you want!
