This is a saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who was the Messenger Allah revealed the Quran (our holy book) to:
'A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. God forgave his sins for this action.' The Prophet was asked: 'Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?' He said, 'There is a reward for kindness to every living thing.'
That is how Muslims are supposed to live their lives.
The basics of Islam are to give Charity, pray 5 times a day, fast during ramadhan, make hajj (if physically,mentally, and financially able to), and shahada (declaring there is no diety of worship except Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is his messenger.)

Islam is a Abrahamic Monotheistic religion founded by the prophet Muhammad. Islam in English would mean submission to God.

Islam means peace literally. The following are the mandatory laws to be a muslim (submitter).
Believe there in no gods except God.
Muhammad is his last Prophet and Messanger.
Believe in angels.
Believe in all the previous Prophets.
Believe in all previous scriptures. Psalms Torah Gospel
Abraham is the frist monothiest and a muslim in Qur'an.

Islam is not a man-made religion. in arabic it means submission. however it also means peace. we, Muslims (followers of Islam) believe in one God, Allah. Allah means the one true, divine ruler and creator of all things living and dead. the religion of Islam was presented to the public by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was given revelations from Allah through Angel Gabriel. the first rule in Islam is that there is only one God and that Prophet Muhammad was his messenger. we pray five times a day to Allah. we believe Moses, Jesus, Abraham were all prophets, not Gods. Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet and messenger because his message was taken and preserved by the people. there was no need and is no need for anymore prophets or messengers. Islam is the only religion that has not changed one bit. women cover their heads like the Prophet's wives and we still pray five times a day and read the Qu'ran (the holy book of Islam with all of Allah's messages.)

It is a religion but its not terrorism like terrorists present it to be they may say they are Islam but the truth is they just misuse to do evil things.

It is a religion. That is very popular in the Middle East That worships Muhammad. It's holy book is the Koran or Qua-ran however you want to spell it. Muhammad Ali practices this faith.

islam is to testify that none worthy of being worshipped but Allah and Muhammed(PBUH) is Allah`s messanger''
there is five prillas for islam:
1)to testify by ur heart and acts that there is no god but Allah who is worthy of bieng worshipped alone.
2)prayers
3)zakat::charity
4)fasting
5)pilgramage:for who is able physically and financially

its a religon that means peace n submission , worshiping ONE god only, Allah. the Prophet Muhammad, is one of the 25 prophets including jesus, moses, david.. etc etc..
