I am taking it with Effexor for social anxiety.

This is used for anxiety usually in a combined effort with other drugs. The point of taking propranolol for anxiety is to slow you heart down, stop your hands from shaking, and stop you from sweating. The effexor takes care of the brain chemistry problems. The effects are seen shortly after you take the pill, however, doctors usually start you on a low dose that may not be effective. After your body gets used to it the usually up the dose.

It doesn't really kick in and it depends what you are taking it for. As you probably know it is a beta blocker used to control high blood pressure and manage heart conditions. However as you have posted your question in mental health are you using it for social anxiety and the side effects of this. If so it is not always effective, so if it doesn't relieve symptoms you must see you doctor

O certain this can def be the kicks!!! Its the most surprising feeling ever!! Im 22 weeks pregnant with my third toddler an iv felt stream because 13 weeks. The extra pregnancies you've the faster your extra in all probability to sense the kicks as you know what your waitin for!! Congratulations xx

It should take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how fast it's digested. I also agree with your first answer, this is usually given as a high blood pressure pill.
