Well, in a way it is, just like it's "bad" for us: it's loaded with sugar and it sticks to their teeth like glue. And Fido can't brush and floss like we do!

There are many dog treats out on the market that are made with peanut butter. Most dogs like the flavor of it.

Not necessarily. Just remember that the fat content in peanut butter is 100%! So, if your dog tends to gain weight easily, it is probably best to avoid peanut butter and stay with a low-fat treat.

as is most things, too much is a bad thing. A little here and there as a treat is no problem. I wouldn't give pup more than a tablespoon or so at a time. In fact, it is the most recommended way to get your pooch to take medicine...hide it in a spoonful of peanut butter.

Peanut butter isn't bad for dogs. They love it and it is in all sorts of treats.

I don't think so, I usually give my dog peanut butter to hide her medicine. I think small amount of peanut butter is fine.

No, as long as they don't have too much as it's very fattening. Some doggie bakeries make peanut butter cookies as treats for dogs.

No, in moderation. It messes up their digestive cycle so expect... uhm... 'a long run' the next day if you feed a whole jar..
