It is okay because scientists do it to rats, mice, dogs, monkeys, etc.

Yes it is a crime and no Danielle it is not ok to drown an animal for any reason what so ever. If an animal is sick and there is nothing that can be done for it, then you take it to the vet and have it put to sleep, the humane way. Many states now have animal cruelty laws and they are punishable with prison time.

Both are considered crimes, and are punishable in a court of law. You can turn unwanted animals into a local shelter - no questions asked. If you have a deep desire to hurt animals...please seek help from a local counseling center. Many people convicted of violent crimes started out by harming animals first, and were not able to stop.

Yes on both questions. That is cruelty to animals!! If you don't want the kitty or cat any more take it to your local animal shelter and give it a chance to have a life with someone else.

Cat, kitten, dog, puppy, horse, etc.....it's all animal cruelty and you'd probably be assigned a shrink as many violent criminals get their start in killing or torturing small animals. I suggest you drop the cat off with the Humane Society, and seek some therapy.

yes and there are animal police nowadays. just get the cat to a good home if you don't want it. would you like someone to drown you or your child? my classmate she drown her cat and hamster and was reported for animal cruelty and got into big trouble. its not cool to kill.

This is disturbing to me on so many levels that an adult would even do such a cruel thing to any living domestic animal, let alone kittens. It is illegal in all 50 states.

A kitten is a little cat. It's the same thing!!!!!! And yes, it's a crime. Just like drowning an adult and a baby are the same thing... a crime. duh

Yes & yes. I don't want 2 ask why & I won't tell you how wrong of a question that is..... On the other hand if no one knows & you do it, is it really "count" as a crime.......But oh it is soooo wrong.

Yes they are both crimes. It is called "cruelty to animals". It is a criminal act, punishable by jail time (in extreme cases), probation and fines and court costs.
