i have seen a couple of dr's, but all they can do for me is set me up for treatments for cortisone shots in my back, which i have had done (painful), and they prescribed me some vicadin (generic brand) pills. i also use the bengay- back pain patch, which reallly doesn't work, and i use an ointment (like bengay), and a heating pad as well. out of all that.....i'm still in terrible pain that at times it makes me cry...where i can't even move. if there is any help out there, besides what i am doing, can someone please pass the info to me. whether it be a home treatment, or something else that i need to tell the dr. to look in to, or any other medications that someone may know about...that are legal......please....help me out!

Have you had an MRI done? This will detect to see if there is
something more then just Arthritis. Lots of DR. just like to give
medications. With back pain we just need to basically live with
the pain, I know I'm not telling you ,something you don't want to
hear, But I'm talking from experience. I was in a Motor Cycle
Accident when I was 22yrs. old and now I'm 46 and still in pain.
My lower spine is all messed up. The DR.'S I've seen just wanted to give me medication until I requested for an MRI. I
told him how can you give medication if your only going by what
I am saying and that I could be lying about my pain. Then soon
after he started to run some test. But a good heating pad will
make your back at ease. Back exercise will do some good.
Take your medication, I know that's not what anyone likes but
it will ease the pain. Don't stress your back, meaning doing alot
for what your back can handle. No heavy lifting. I'm telling
you this cause like I said before I have three disc that is half the size that it supposed to be due to the motor cycle accident.

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

Hi! Ok, I agree with the Yoga - Stretching is always good. A warm towel or cloth does wonders too - it relaxes the muscles. Also, try putting Chammomile essential oil on your back twice a day - it is an antiinflammatory, and will really help. I am at WindstarHealing.com if you have any questions, or you can visit my virtual office at Kasamba.com . Have a great day!

Yoga is good, acupuncture may work for you. It might hurt to start with, but back exercises are the best method. When you strengthen the muscles around the area it puts less stress on the vertabrae.
