im sorry to say that frizz ease and garnier stuff doesnt work. im a hairdresser and i onlyl work with professionaly stuff. now the stuff in salons may cost more but its worth it. try get Sleek.Look from Matrix. they have a shampoo and condtioner. there is also hair serums to use when u have blowdryed ur hair. also i dont know u blow ur hair straight or use a flat iron. a really good flat iron to use is from Chi. that cost about $100. but it is worth is as well. less damaging to ur hair and last a long time. u can get one at a Trade Secrets if ur local mall has one. now remember to always use a heat resisant product before straightening ur hair. how it works!

I'll assume your hair is naturally wavy or curly and on the thick side (like most frizzy hair). Here's my strange but strong advice ...

Stop straightening your hair and commit to washing it just once every 3-4 days for the next 2 weeks. And each time you wash it ...

Use Suave conditioner instead of shampoo. It will exfoliate your scalp (clean it) about as well as shampoo will. It will really reduce your frizz. Also condition your hair from top to bottom as usual. Use your fingers to "comb" out tangles, then let it AIR dry.

You will find that it's the detergent in shampoo that is most responsible for dry hair, stripping it of natural oil (sebum).

After about 2 weeks of trying this routine you will likely notice your hair is amazingly more soft, and your natural curls or waves are very defined. You will likely not care to go back to straightening.

You can keep up this routine if it works, using normal shampoo once in a while (every couple months) to remove any conditioner buildup that occurs.

Avoid high- alcohol products (like hair spray) as much as you can. Suave mousse is cheap and works really really well.

This costs about $6-7 for a small tube & around $12-16 for a large ( A large lasts me about a year & I had long hair 1/2 way down my back). You can only get it in salons, but it is GREAT!!! I had the same problem.. anyways its called Potion 9 & is made by Sabastien (sp). Try it, & I bet you'll thank me. It is worth the little extra $

ok so if you're on a budget and can't afford salon products, go to walmart and get Tres'emme shampoo and conditioner...it's like $3.84 for each...works wonderful...then while your hair is still wet, put some sort of hair serum or leave in conditioner in your hair..then blow dry it with a defrizzer (the little flat thingy you attach to your hair dryer)...it'll make your hair super soft and frizz-free.

hun sumtimes you can't get rid of stuff like that so go with the old saying if you can't beat it join it work with what you got frizzy hair can be cute try smoothing it back into a tight ponytail with gel and let your frizzy curls blow in back or get the front part braided and use a pick to brush your curls it'll look cute either way

Honestly, I don't think you can do anything to provent your hair going frizzy against the humid, which sucks cause I spend so much to straighten and it just goes curly.

I would:
AFter your shower, put your mousse and straighten cream in. And let your HAIR AIR DRY. Then straighen.

ive worked in a professional salon, and i def agree w/ the above: sleek.look by matrix. people need to realize that people with problematic hair are not going to get the same good results with regular drugstore hair products. and the chi is the absolute best investment i have ever made.
