I only learned recently that 'Drowsy Driving' is a big problem. Many people even get DUI's because they fail a sobriety test from being too tired. The National Higway Traffic Safety Association says that we should avoid driving during the body's downtime between midnight and 6 am, and in the late afternoon (proving that siestas are a good idea). They also say to simply pull over at a rest stop and nap, because coffee doesn't really work and we cannot control the actual moment when we fall asleep. A good site that tells a lot about drowsy driving is www.safemotorist.com, which details the regulations in each state. Just click the state, then click the learn more link. Hope this helps, and be sure to get your sleep!

I'm not answering your question more like a comment. I get the same thing. Even after sleeping well night before, and only takes around 20 mins. I feel I am being hypnotized more than actually sleepy. I tried coffee and energy drinks nothing works. I get out of car and I'm fine. Not tired.

If your driving an automatic, slam your left hand in the door and drive with your right. If it's a stick,a safty pin driven an inch or so into your thigh will work. Seriuosly, the only thing that really works is to get sufficiant sleep befor your trip.If you get sleepy, GET OFF THE ROAD and get some sleep. The life you save may be your own!!!

Generally, driving a car is not highly involved. Sing, studies show that people who sing in the car get in fewer accidents.

Cats are nocturnal (meaning they sleep in the day and hunt during the night) so they tend to be that way for a while. We mad it to where my cats got used to sleeping at night and being awake during the day. Usually when she wakes up its because she is hungry. If she is up all night she isnt used to being up during the day so she doesn't eat when you would. You could study her habits and observe how she spends her days and her nights to see what you can do. She may also just want attention my kitten does that but its because he likes when I pet him because it helps him go to sleep. He also likes being right in my face that way he knows that im the one their. Either way your cat just really wants ur attention because she is sleep during the day and doesnt really get it.

you know its been proven that no matter what you do(blast the music, blast the heat, roll the windows down...) it wont work for very long because your body will become immune to it. so there is no cure really, just drive safe and be safe.
