Was it good, and where can I try it?

I have tried beef sashimi (raw meat) and it was ok.

Grubs, Ants, pigeon, crow, squirrel, muskrat, beaver, bear, goat, snake, crocodile, Buffalo, gold fish, moose eye, rabbit, boar, white tail deer, moose, dog, wild cat, grass hopper legs, and gopher, most of these I've eaten though survival training, and most weren't that bad if you prepared it right. although the moose eye almost made me toss my cookies. As for how you can get this stuff you got to have an open mind, and a strong stomach most of things that I've eaten i eat during survival training, so not everyone can just try it at a whim.

Try Thai foods or South African restaurants. I had Ethiopian once at a place that didn't allow forks or knives. It was fun. If you like slightly spicy or curry based foods, something exotic, try looking up some of these in your local phone book under cuisine, or ethnic foods. Have fun. I don't like raw steak or raw fish either. I ask the waiter what he recommends or get a sampler platter when I don't know what to order. A sample platter is usually enough for you and a friend to get a taste of exotic foods. Indian foods like curry are good. Just ask for the recommendations and tell the waiter your preference's on how spicy. I have had rattlesnake, ostrich, buffalo, and frog legs. As long as it was cooked and seasoned well, I liked it.

I ate a live Spot Prawn that had had its head removed seconds earlier by the deft hand of a sushi chef. It squirmed as I chewed it up, which was a little weird. Was it good? It was fantastic and made me feel high. Try it at Shiro Sushi in Seattle.
