Is there any way to stop being hungry for snacks between meals or to 'shrink your stomach' so to speak without going overboard?

start by cutting portions, its hard to do at first but if you stick to it, your stomach will shrink and you will get full faster, it has worked for me, ive lost 50 lbs in 6 months

Drink water! A lot of times when you are feeling hungry, especially in the summer time, it is because you are dehydrated. Even if you don't feel thirsty. Drink water, wait 15 minutes. If you still feel hungry, munch on something, but make it a fruit or vegetable that is loaded with water like a carrot or watermelon. Hope this helps.
