There is no fiery burning hell; that's a manmade idea, not Almighty God's.

The religious clergymen of Christendom have created an image of what they understand to be “hell” or “inferno” in the minds of their church people. It is a terrible image. The long-taught idea of “hell” or “inferno” depends upon the doctrine of a human soul being something separate and distinct from the human body that cannot die; spiritual and invisible, something that we cannot feel with our sense of touch. Common sense tells us if that were so, the pain of fire could not be felt, as fire is an earthly element requiring the physical body to sense. Also, the Bible is very clear in stating that the soul is subject to death, saying: “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20)

Pagan religions are noted for teaching red-hot hells. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, Persians, Grecians and Hindus taught flaming hells. The Buddhists teach a hell wherein people cook and sizzle in blazing kettles. Is the Bible hell as hot as the pagans paint theirs? Here is the answer.

Hell corresponds to the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek Hades. It also says that hell comes from the English word helan, meaning “to conceal.” So the early meaning of the word “hell” carried no thought of any kind of heat. It merely meant “concealed.” We have found, too, that the original Hebrew word, usually translated “hell” in English Bibles, is Sheol. Now what does Sheol mean? It simply means “a hollow place.” So the original Hebrew word perfectly corresponds with the original or early meaning of the English word “hell.”

Now that the clergy have put fire into the word “hell,” the vital question is, Did the inspired Hebrew Bible writers say that conscious life and red-hot activity exist in Sheol or hell? No, quite the opposite! Instead of blazing fire it is described as a “land of darkness.” (Job 10:21) Instead of a place of soul-chilling shrieks it is described as a place of “silence.” (Ps. 115:17) The Catholic Douay Bible, at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, says: “The living know that they shall die, but the dead know nothing more. Neither have they a reward any more: for the memory of them is forgotten. Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge, shall be in hell [Sheol, AS], whither thou art hastening.” So, since the “dead know nothing more,” or as the King James Version says, “the dead know not any thing,” it would be impossible for them to know conscious torment. And since there is no work in hell, how can there be activity, red-hot or otherwise? Hell is the common grave of mankind.

This God is not the one who decides for us. We do. You're not seeing the whole picture. Hell wasn't made for us.
God loves us and He did give us a free will and choice if we want to serve Him or not. But he can't let sin into heaven and this is why He is ASKING us to please love and follow Him in return so that we can be forgiven by just asking. He's not asking us to be perfect because He knows we CAN'T. Christians sin too.
People think that God is demanding and insists,"Serve Me or go to hell!" It's not like that. He has emotions too.
Just as if you would cry when a loved one dies and you're going to miss them deeply, this is how God feels because He is heart broken that so many refuse to receive Him and love Him the way you would love your parents or your spouse and care for them.
God is never wrong because He's not the one who is sending His creation masterpieces to Hell. It's OUR bad choice of not knowing Him, that put us there.

First of all, God does not test us, satan does. God created us and would never tempt us. He loves us. Second, you do not burn in hell. God would never torment us. Would any loving father do that to his son? No. If you die, you are just dead. You are concious of nothing at all. You couldn't burn in hell and experience the heat and pain if you were concious of nothing. If you do not choose to serve the only true God, then you will miss out on experiencing everlasting life on a paradise earth.

Is it? What use is free will if we have no choices to make? Just like anybody else, wouldn't an all-powerful God prefer to be chosen rather than being the only option? Such a being might even be hurt and sad that anyone would choose such a drastic escape from Him rather than hang out! From that perspective, it shows remarkable restraint that He even lets them make their own choice. Doesn't it?

God was kind enough to give u me and everyone FREE WILL what ever u do with it is up to u. u can choose not to believe u can choose to follow the WORD of GOD or u can choose to do niether and complain as it is in ur case. My advise would be to stop asking why and how, and listen and look. there are signs all around us to show us he /or she (for all u fems) is here for us and is helping us walk the right path..........no i take that back.....walk with us on that right path and carry us when we need.

We are paying for the sins of Adam and Eve, who we never knew. That sounds like the logic of a just and fair God, doesn't it?

Who are you to say that is wrong? Who are you to question God and His authority? I mean get over yourself. No one is making you worship or serve Him. So, you seem to have nothing to worry about .... until the end of the world. : )

Well He created you and the world that you live in so I believe He has every right to do with us His creation as He wills. Luckily He is loving and merciful.

Peace of Christ,
