there are several ways to contact the dead. ( Bear in mind that they also contact you.) They will leave you signs, talk to you through dreams and make things happen around your house.
You can contact them by thinking of them, using a ouja board or through automatic writing.
Ive found that the best way is automatic writing. This is where you sit down with paper and pen in a quite place and think about the person you wish to talk to. ask them questions or whatever you wish. But the pen to paper and take off writing. Listen for their voice in your head and take dictation. Youll be surprised at the out come. Write whatever comes to mind, no matter how strange it may be. after a few attempts, youll get something.

If you believe in contacting the dead so much, Ouija Boards can supposedly contact the dead. I believe it is a useless peace of junk. God also said not to contact spirits. If you're not religious do as you wish, but I would say not to if you are.

You pray to them. Other than this is not recommended. Seeing that 1/3 of the hosts of heaven did not receive bodies and come to the earth, they are in the spirit realm and can deceive soothesayers. I know its hard but you have to have faith. If you are interested in doing work for the dead righteously to bring them blessings become a Latter Day Saint.

The conversation would be pretty dull without brains, lips, hands, heart, eyebrows.
If you mean that there is something of the personality, memory, or attachments left in a "soul" or "person" when his/her brain/body is gone, prove it. The brain/body is the seat of all that.
My parents are long dead, and I feel their presence often. I think about what my parents would want for me. I thank them for loving me and teaching me enough to get along. So, my parents are still present, but only in my mind.

Actualy you can. But first off all they need to want to be contacted.
Second of all you need a really good psycic or clairvoyant. Who doesn't mind speaking to the dead.
oops, that was a misstatement. I should have said -
who doesn't mind listening to the dead. You can speak to them all you want, It's hearing the reply thats tricky.
And then again, if they don't want to answer you then, well your back to square one aren't you!

aaah, one of the old questions, and, it's easy, so nr.1 you have to believe in spirits, no, not evil spirits, haunting spirits or all that garbage, but the spirits of the dead that walk between the living, and so: truly believe, and go to the grave, if you believe in truth and existance beyond death, then you will see, and talk to the person you whish to contact. and providing faith, he'll answer!

I agree with Terry...don't dabble you are only coming in contact with evil spirits trying to decieve you!!!! The dead is gone and will not come back to get in touch with you!!!!!

We can't really contact them, but in some cases some loved ones, if they need to find way to communicate with their loved one. It maybe something so small, that we don't even know they are.
