The Greek is translating a Hebrew word, "moschiach" (annointed one.) Moschiach is also transliterated in English as messiah. It does refer to the ancient practice of annointing kings with oil, but unless you are the prophet Samuel, I wouldn't read a whole lot into your "lubrication."
