Atheists don't believe in anything. Does this mean that they don't go to heaven or hell? Or do they rot in hell forever?

Well, I really don't know. I think that they will be judged by God as everybody else. The final decision is made by God

I think there's an absolute truth. There may be a God or there may not be. Heaven and Hell may exist, but perhaps they don't. Whatever the truth is, it's not going to change just because I believe one thing or the other. Atheist don't believe in God. If there is a God, then he'll decide what to do with them when they die. If there isn't a God, then they'll decompose or be burned like everyone else.

You assume too much to claim that they don't believe in anything. And this question is as such, only directed to those that don't understand enough to answer the question in the first place. Heaven , hell, purgatory, limbo are all terms of your system of beliefs, and have nothing to do with theirs. It's obvious to me that you are on the opposite end of a spectrum of trouble makers to that of mine. You would impose your stucture on everyone, believing that you were doing good. Well let me tell you amature, no good deed goes unpunished!

It is not true to say atheists dont believe in anything cause they believe (usually very adamantly) in NOT believing. Anyway, as far as death goes my friend says she is just going to be like compost. Rot back into the earth & be used as fertilizer for plants!

Exactly! It's the same thing that happens to everybody else when they die...they cease to breathe and that's all anyone knows about it.
And FYI: Atheists DO believe in things, just not "God"

It happens the same as every other known living form: they decay. That's certain for atheists, theists, deists and pantheists.
Afterlife? That's mere speculation at best.
Atheists believe in many things, they don't believe in "theism" and related concepts though.
