I would cut my hand off.
This sounds similar to the episode of 24 where Jack cuts Chase's had off (except it wasn't a bomb--it was a deadly substance).

I won't need the knife. I'll just break the bones in my thumb and fingers to get the handcuffs off. Didn't you watch "The specialist" starring Sly Stallone and Antonio Banderas? When they were on a taxicab Antonio broke his finger bones in order to take the handcuffs off. I'll just do the same. Antonio:"Today is my birthday, today I become number one" (Heavy spanish accent). Sly: "Habby B-day assshole" (lighting a match in the gas filled room). KA BOOM. That was an awesome movie.

If you cut your hand off with a knife you would die from blood loss. So I dont think there would be any thing you could do. But I guess I would try to cut my hand off.

That question reminds me of the guy in Utah who got his hand trapped by a boulder in a canyon and after three days cut his hand off so he could get out of there alive.

Well if the bomb was gonna go off then Hells Yes! I would cut that sucker right off, And if I couldnt make myself cut it off......then i would drag it to my enemies house and let myself in and blow some stuff up and make a big *** mess!

no, im scared of pain, and would probably pass out just thinking about causing myself so much pain. id probably run with the bomb wherever i could trying to get it off....and when it got down to the last second....NO.
i got it! i would hold it really really tightly (my hand) until it fell asleep then it would be numb when i was cutting it off! yea, id save my life.

If I were sure the bomb was real and active and there was no other way to escape, I suppose I would do whatever was necessary to save my life.
