You're confused. I am confused. I don't know if you are asking a question about confusion or if you are looking for help because you are drowning.

Poor baby, how long have you been agonizing over this thing with your best friend and your crush? Stop it. Tell yourself the worrying stops today.
Just one thing to advise you and you truly already know the rest. You need to walk away from the crush. You have told too much to your girlfriend and she has proven to be competitive. Watch out, because girlfriends like that will only cause you misery. She does not know about boundaries. You do not date or chase or try to seduce your best friend's crush or ex-boyfriend or current boyfriend.
In your excitement you gave her information that you obviously were not acting on. She is acting on it you can bet her booty on that and you need to learn from this - don't get angry because it is a learning situation. You have learned that she does not have boundaries; that you cannot trust her; that you can throw in the towel with this guy because it would turn into a competition. Don't hate her, just don't let her know who you are interested in, especially if you are only going to gush about him - she will show you up every time, having you live vicariously through her.
Gradually wean her as a friend and strike out alone for the time being. If you must tell how you feel. Open a word document, make it your diary. Give it a password and only you will know what is said and it will never betray you. Do not tell anyone about it and don't leave your password lying around. Write your innermost feelings in that diary. Add a new entry every night and you'll not have to worry about boundaries and if you're stuck again, come on back to Yahoo Answers.

That much is clearly apparent. You seem so confused that you can't even get your question to a point where we can try to help you!
