he's never been to jail or prison before.
his charges on his probation were going to be dropped upon completion.
there was more than one person arrested at the house. but he did live there

He is going to prison. Being in possession of a controlled substance gets you jail time. I mean he was already on probation, pardon my language but he is screwed.

What are his chances for what - freedom or jail time - I'd bet on jail time as a sure thing unless he knows somebody major that he can hand over to the cops - and why would you be friends with a dope dealer - do you not know the pain that crap causes - the death and destruction - and he's selling it - and you are his friend - puh-leeze!

It'll be up to his probation officer.......but he's more likely to be spending some time with "Bubba" in the cell.
