In all the Q and A that I have read on YA it seems like the 2pt answer is “Jesus/God said…” and you parrot back some ancient translated and re-translated text that was a fable even then! Okay, I got that standard answer and oh let’s not forget “I will pray for you” (insert eye-roll here) so here goes if you are set, your bags are packed for heaven and you feel absolved. WHY DO YOU KEEP MAKING THE PLACE MISERABLE FOR EVERYONE ELSE?
I mean you are pretty much set, then why go after Gays, other religions or anything else your narrow scriptures ask? I am not getting it! Let’s see do you know because of Christians in the Bible belt there are still places you can’t by alcohol in Texas? And that your “Moral Majority” is actually making it more difficult for families to make ends meet and your answer to them is pray?
When does it stop? When will you start turning the cheek already?

I'm glad you feel better. What type of responses are you expecting on a religion and spirituality website. Your post sounds like you have met some Christians that you don't agree with. Please don't lump 100% of all Christians together. Because not everyone believes the same way and there are a lot of pretty decent Christians. But if you are looking for the bad in people you will see the bad. But if you are looking for the good in people, you will see the good.
But remember this, this is the religion and spirituality section of Yahoo Answers, so you will find Christians here, even ones you don't like.
Look, we all have to get along. I don't want to hurt you and I don't want to be hurt. Can we try to get along instead of accusing 100% of the Christians of doing bad things. There are some kooks out there who don't understand Christianity. Others make mistakes and are trying (like me) and there are actually a few who are perfect, but I have yet to meet one of those yet.

Its always good to vent.Now as you can see,this is the religion and spirituality section of Yahoo Answers.There are alot of sections you can go into.Christians and other religions will always rule this area.Looking at what you wrote it looks like you've met some christians you didnt like. Were not here to bible bash people,and if theres christians doing then thats wrong,I apologize in behalf of them.All we do is warn you of the wrath to come.You have the free choice of accepting it or not. Hopes this clears it up for you.

Our intention is not usually to make things miserable for someone else. I think that people who do not believe get tired of hearing what someone else believes and take it as a personal attack.
My only goal in sharing with someone is to prevent them from eternal hell, which is what I believe will happen when a person dies who has rejected Christ. Maybe instead of taking offense and arguing you should just be flattered that someone cares that much about you.
"Turning the other cheek" refers to being assaulted and not fighting back.
