I think all teachers, not just women, are disturbed to see kids dropping out....for one, thats how they make their living, by teaching kids, and for two, kids today are the leaders of the future, and without leaders creating new jobs, and a good economy, we might as well just call ourself mexico and try to cross over into canada

because they dont want to see them fail in life,, school is just part education the other part is sticking to it to finish,,i dropped out in the 10th grade and went on to make enough money to retire at 40 with alot of money

it's not just women, any good teacher feels loss when a student drops out, it's a personal failure

because daily average attendance drops down and they start laying off teachers.
If seniority counts........that means all the pretty teachers are laid off and all that is left are the ones with mustaches and bad perms.

Because they are the worriors. They worry about teenagers not having jobs, not having social network, not having education, not having the ability to earn money, not being able to support their family and so on. If you are female; welcome to the worry-club...
